This is a solo episode in which I talk about fears that introverts have in marketing. When I’m talking to clients and podcast guests they often say things like –
“I don’t want to put my face out there”,
“I hate networking”, or
“I really struggle with live video”.
All of these fears stop them from taking action that will move their business forward – for example showing their face will help potential clients get to know them.
Common Marketing Fears
When we really pay attention to our marketing fears, personally I feel they can be broken down into 4 areas:
- Fear of getting visible
- Fear of not being perfect
- Fear that what I have to say isn’t important
- Fear of not being liked
Working on the basis that we do need to market the business, how are we going to address some of these fears?
Join me in this short episode as I go through each fear in turn. Offering some practical advice and mindset shifts that might help after listening. These are all things I have struggled with myself and many of my tips are things I’ve done personally.
