Comparison to others
Do you spend time comparing yourself with other people on social media and online? Does it give you the feeling that they are somehow “better” than you?
That they have it all together, their business is thriving and their life is great!
In this episode, Gabrielle and I explored the feeling that everyone else is doing better.
We talked about what is really going on when we see a post on Instagram and it makes us feel bad. And we unpacked the story we tell ourselves that if someone else is doing well, then automatically we must be doing badly.
Gabrielle had some great tactics for stopping those negative thoughts. She shared how she shows up on social mindfully and helpfully.
Our discussion also talked about the benefits of comparing yourself to competitors. Not only can you get great inspiration from others, but it’s also a tool I use when I’m helping clients find their niche.
