Case study: Newborn Art by SJ Baldock

Sarah Baldock is a photographer, specialising in gorgeous images of newborn babies at her home studio. Sarah contacted me when she needed some support with Facebook. While she is able to post regular images of beautiful babies, she wanted to share some other posts with her audience, for example articles which would be relevant to new mums and celebrity baby news.

I worked with Sarah on a profile of her ideal customer, her age and the sort of content that she would like and began to post relevant news from baby blogs and national press. I post more of this content when Sarah is on annual leave, so followers continue to receive updates.

As Sarah’s business has developed I have worked on a number of other activities. When she rebranded her website, I worked to produce a bespoke referral voucher and product guide. I briefed the designer carefully to ensure the end result was consistent with the website look and feel, and communicated the brand values of exclusivity and care.

I now also produce a monthly blog for the new website and a monthly customer e-newsletter, tracking the results of both. I work closely with Sarah and her sales support associate, with regular planning meetings to ensure the marketing continues to support the growing business.
